I keep this corner mostly to think out loud — but also because the process of doing science looks nothing like its highlight reel, where every grant is single-digit-percentiled and every paper arrives fully formed from thin air. These are notes on the messier, more honest reality: the science I'm excited about, and the parts of the academic pipeline nobody hands you a manual for.
